If your daughter will be going in to the seventh grade next school year, then this is the time to ask! Pacific Coast Chapter is open to women and their rising 7th or 8th grade daughters who reside in the Huntington Beach Union High School District boundaries. Our Membership Process begins at the end of September in the year your daughter is in 6th grade (if enrollment permits, on occasion we also take a very limited number of rising 8th graders).  Ask a member about the traditions of our chapter. If it sounds like NCL is the right fit for you, we hope you will consider applying!

As a prospective member, you will first need to find a current active member of Pacific Coast Chapter to sponsor you. Your Sponsor will meet with you to describe the obligations of membership in detail so you can make an informed decision about whether membership in NCL is something you would like to pursue.

Be sure to complete your Prospective Member Application in as much detail as possible! We are primarily interested in finding women who have shown a commitment to philanthropic service and are ready, willing and able to give of their time and talents to advance our Chapter. Please be mindful of all posted deadlines, as late applications cannot be accepted. Completed applications are typically due in early January.

Membership is by invitation. The review process focuses solely on the mother. No information about the daughter is reviewed or considered. Offers of membership are based on compatibility with the goals and traditions of Pacific Coast Chapter. Unfortunately, in some years the number of outstanding candidates exceeds our class capacity. For that reason we kindly ask that you refrain from discussing the prospect of membership with your daughter until after you have learned of the outcome of your application.

Membership decisions are typically sent out via US Mail in mid-February.
